Welcome to Las Marías Natural Reserve. Before making a reservation and enjoying our nature experiences, we invite you to carefully read our terms and conditions. By booking and using our services, you agree to these conditions and commit to complying with them.

Definition of Services

Las Marías Natural Reserve offers an ecotourism experience, including guided tours, wildlife and flora observation, general explanations about the coffee process, and other activities related to conservation and connection with the environment. Our services are subject to availability and weather conditions.

Reservation and Payment

To secure your participation in our experiences, it is essential to make a prior reservation through our WhatsApp channel. Payment must be made using the available payment methods, which we will inform you about through our official channels. The reservation will be considered confirmed only after the registration form is submitted, and payment is received and verified.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Reserva Natural Las Marías, no refunds are issued for reservation cancellations. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so we offer the following options:

Rescheduling Your Visit: If you cannot attend on the scheduled date, you may reschedule your visit for another available date by notifying us at least 72 hours in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is allowed only once per reservation, which must be used within a maximum of 6 months from the original date.
Transfer of Reservation: You also have the option to transfer your reservation to another person by notifying us in writing at least 72 hours in advance and completing the form to provide all the necessary details of the new participant. This transfer is allowed only once per reservation.
No show: If you do not show up on the agreed date and time for the experience without prior notice, the payment made will not be refundable or transferable..
Cancellation by Las Marías Natural Reserve: In extraordinary situations, such as extreme weather conditions or unforeseen events that compromise visitors' safety, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the tour. If canceled by us, we will offer you the option of a full refund or rescheduling your visit, according to your preference.

Health and Physical Fitness

This tour is suitable for people aged 12 and older, in good physical condition, without medical limitations, and with full mobility. It is not recommended for those with mobility difficulties, with back, hip or knee problems, or other conditions that limit movement on uneven terrains. Visitors are responsible for evaluating their condition before participating.

Photography and Video Use

During the tour, the Las Marías team may take photographs and videos of the activities for promotional purposes on social media and our website. By participating in our experiences, visitors authorize the use of their image in these media. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please notify our staff before the activity begins.

Visitor Responsibility

Visitors must comply with all instructions from Las Marías staff to ensure their safety, the safety of other visitors, and the preservation of the natural environment. It is prohibited to engage in activities that may endanger wildlife, flora, or the integrity of the facilities. Visitors are responsible for acting respectfully and following the rules established in the Code of Conduct. We reserve the right of admission and stay in case of non-compliance, without the right to a refund.

Code of Conduct

Respect and protect private property and the surrounding natural environment.
Follow the recommendations of our hosts, who are guardians of the environment and will take care of your experience.
Arrive with clarity and serenity for this great experience. Avoid consuming alcohol or psychoactive substances, as connecting with this paradise deserves a clear mind and an open heart.
Be a guardian of silence. Avoid loud noises, shouting, or using sound devices. Let the environment's melody be the only soundtrack of your experience.
Do not leave any waste during the tour and avoid using single-use plastics.
Within the Reserve, make sure to leave nature intact. Every leaf, flower, and creature has a purpose here; take only memories and leave only footprints.
Respect water sources like waterfalls and streams. Do not throw substances or waste that could pollute these vital resources.
Do not feed local species. Their balance depends on preserving their natural habits.
Follow marked trails and always walk accompanied by a guide or host.
And above all, enjoy. Let the birds' songs, streams' flow, and winds' breeze fill your senses and soul.

Personal Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data, collected solely to manage your reservation and offer a personalized experience. Your information will be kept confidential and securely stored and will not be shared with third parties except in legal cases or with providers under strict confidentiality agreements. Under Colombian personal data protection laws (Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013), you have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information you have provided. Accident Insurance

Las Marías Natural Reserve has accident insurance that covers up to a certain amount in case of emergencies within our facilities. This insurance does not include incidents caused by fights, alcohol consumption, or irresponsible behavior. Visitors are encouraged to inform their health insurance provider when booking to facilitate any necessary procedures in case of an emergency.

Modifications to the Terms and Conditions

These terms may be modified at any time. We recommend periodically reviewing our website for updates.

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the Colombian law. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent authorities of the country.
